Our take on Astervoid 2000
The focused combat design leaves out power-ups and broader progression systems, putting the emphasis on piloting, weapons, and asteroid positioning. That keeps the match structure direct but gives players fewer tools for changing how a ship develops during play.
What is Astervoid 2000?
Astervoid 2000 is a local multiplayer space combat game for 1 to 4 players.
Ships battle in asteroid fields where explosive, indestructible, and ricocheting icy asteroids can damage vessels or be turned against opponents. Versus Mode supports 2 to 4 players in free-for-all or team deathmatch matches. Survival Mode pits a player against waves of AI-controlled ships, with scores based on how quickly enemies are destroyed and recorded on a leaderboard. The game does not use power-ups, so combat centers on piloting, shooting, and positioning. It supports gamepads as well as keyboard and mouse controls.
