Our take on FULL METAL COFFIN
Rather than centering on construction, management, or vehicle handling alone, the simulation places the crew inside the submarine during combat. Sonar interpretation, torpedo preparation, and shared station duties replace a single-player control structure with coordinated operations.
What is FULL METAL COFFIN?
FULL METAL COFFIN is a 3D cooperative submarine simulator set in flooded caverns beneath Antarctica.
Up to four players operate a vessel together, assigning tasks or filling roles as needed. The crew loads torpedoes, engages enemy outposts, defends against incoming waves, and chooses when to fight. Sonar and hydrophone systems support navigation and detection: players can listen for threats and use returning sonar signals to see the cavern environment. Different torpedo types can be crafted, loaded for immediate use, or saved for later encounters. The game centers on communication, planning, and keeping the submarine operating during combat. Players can establish a command structure or coordinate informally while handling the vessel's interior systems.
How FULL METAL COFFIN plays
- 01Four-player crews
- A team of up to four people can operate the submarine together, with players taking on needed duties.
- 02Sonar detection
- Sonar pings and hydrophone listening reveal enemies and provide visual information about the cavern surroundings.
- 03Torpedo crafting
- The crew can create different torpedo variants and decide whether to use them immediately or reserve them.
- 04Submarine combat
- Players attack enemy outposts and respond to waves of hostile forces in the Antarctic caverns.
