Our take on Foreign Galaxies
The relaxed presentation may make the game sound like a simple exploration trip, but its route home depends on a broader resource-management loop involving mining, research, fabrication, automation, ship upgrades, and trading.
What is Foreign Galaxies?
After a portal malfunction leaves a ship millions of light years from home, the player gathers nearby resources to build a way back.
The game uses first-person exploration across multiple planets, where ores are collected according to current needs. Research expands the ship with new capabilities, including a Fabricator Module for turning raw materials into complex items. Automatic mining and fabrication tools can operate while idle, while ship improvements and upgrades extend its functions. A Trading Console supports exchanges with residents on visited planets. The setting centers on EXO-1, an inhabited zone whose capital is Oasis, and the overall structure combines story-driven exploration with slow-paced resource management.
