Our take on Flamebreak
Rather than centering on a fixed hero and campaign path, the game rebuilds its combat premise around randomized races, weapons, skills, enemies, and items for each run. Its action-RPG structure also incorporates twin-stick and MOBA-style arena elements.
What is Flamebreak?
Flamebreak is a roguelite action RPG combining twin-stick combat with MOBA-style arena play.
Each procedurally generated run creates new challenges and assigns a hero defined by a race, weapon, and skill selection. Ten races, eight weapons, more than 20 skills, over 50 enemy types, and 100+ items support different character builds and attack approaches. Item sets can alter how a run works, while permadeath ends a failed attempt. Daily challenges allow competition with friends and global players. The game includes millions of seeded runs, multiple player profiles, and control options for gamepad, mouse and keyboard, or keyboard alone. Its world is presented through illustrated scrolls and rhyming verse.
