What is Rift of the NecroDancer?
Rift of the NecroDancer is a rhythm game where Cadence battles monsters in musical encounters.
Each enemy has distinct behavior, such as bats changing lanes after being attacked, while stronger foes require multiple hits. The game includes over 30 base-game songs, with almost 50 available when free tracks are downloaded, plus a soundtrack featuring more than 40 Rhythm Rift tracks. Each Rhythm Rift offers four intensity settings: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Impossible. Handcrafted stages can be replayed in Remix Mode, which generates a different beat map while preserving the original rhythmic structure. Daily Challenges use shared random seeds and global leaderboards. The game also includes five rhythm-based boss fights, five slice-of-life minigames, and tools for creating custom beat maps.
