Our take on SPOOKWARE
The rapid microgame format keeps each challenge brief, but sacrifices extended depth within individual activities. The final release also fixes the available scope at the prologue and 2 episodes rather than expanding to the additional episodes shown in the level select.
What is SPOOKWARE?
SPOOKWARE follows three skeleton brothers on a road trip through the afterlife, where they encounter story-driven trouble, including a cruise-ship murder mystery and a high-school band.
The game includes a prologue and 2 episodes, each divided into 3 chapters with distinct locations, mechanics, and stories. Its collection contains over 90 horror-themed microgames, with individual challenges lasting only a few seconds. Gameplay shifts between puzzles, rhythm challenges, frantic actions, mouse controls, keyboard inputs, and controller play. Completing microgames adds them to a collection, while an endless mode combines unlocked games and increases the pace. The current release is final; Episodes 3 and 4 shown in the level select are not planned for release.
