Rather than keeping the player in a passive viewing role, the game turns its cartoon sequences into interactive scenes and sends Riley into the surrounding library to answer Amanda's requests. The setting also replaces the attic with a larger investigation space tied to the story.
What is Amanda the Adventurer 2?
Riley Park travels to the Kensdale Public Library after discovering troubling content on tapes from the attic.
A masked figure connected to Aunt Kate asks Riley to find something she left behind, while a dangerous entity is drawn to the tapes. Amanda is aware of Riley and seeks a way to escape. The game combines story investigation with interactive cartoon sequences in which dialogue and choices influence Amanda's world.
Riley can also leave the viewing setup to search the surrounding environment for items Amanda requests, choosing whether to comply. The library provides a larger setting containing secrets and story details, while new companions join Riley and Amanda. The mystery expands to include Aunt Kate, the tapes, and the production of Amanda the Adventurer.
