Our take on CENTRALIA
Its defining structure is a survival-horror investigation spread across a dead city, a forest, and a three-floor hospital, with progress tied to finding objects, solving puzzles, and confronting enemies.
What is CENTRALIA?
CENTRALIA follows Henry Nelson as he enters the abandoned city of Centralia, Pennsylvania, to find his daughter Shirley, who has gone there looking for her missing mother.
The story connects the town’s underground coal fire and the disappearance of much of its population with rumors of a disturbing discovery beneath the city. Exploration covers streets, a forest, and a three-floor hospital. Progress involves examining objects, collecting and using items, solving puzzles to reach new areas, and facing different enemies. The game presents a horror setting with environmental lighting, visual effects, sound, and a soundtrack. It also includes a combat system described as unusual, alongside a narrative focused on survival and Henry’s search.
