The defining structure is Abe’s rescue-driven journey through multiple facilities, combining Mudokon liberation with supernatural powers and a final assault on SoulStorm Brewery.
What is Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus®?
Abe leaves retirement after learning that the Magog Cartel is mining Necrum, a sacred Mudokon city, for bones used in SoulStorm Brew.
The adventure moves through locations including the Mudanchee and Mudomo Vaults, FeeCo Depot, the Slig Barracks, Bonewerks, and SoulStorm Brewery. Abe rescues imprisoned Mudokon spirits and gains supernatural abilities from the Spirit Guides, including healing afflicted friends and becoming invisible. Explosive bodily attacks also feature among the hazards and survival tools. The story leads to a confrontation at the brewery, where Abe discovers the drink’s hidden ingredient and destroys the facility with help from the Mudokons he has freed.
