Our take on Fireside
Fireside trades conflict and action for a quieter social structure. That choice gives conversations, trading, and home building room to define the journey, but leaves little space for players who expect combat-driven tension or fast-paced encounters.
What is Fireside?
Fireside follows a journey shaped by the pauses between travels.
Conversations with fellow travellers reveal their stories and what they may need. Supplies, trinkets, and other items collected along the way can be traded for useful goods or given to allies. Materials found or exchanged are used to build and improve a home, which can become a place for new friends to visit. Exploration takes place in a calm, magic-filled world, with campfire interactions forming the centre of the experience. Fireside is non-violent: its activities focus on conversation, friendship, collecting, trading, community building, and a tranquil atmosphere rather than harming characters.
