Our take on Decision: Red Daze
The defining structure connects exploration missions with settlements that produce resources and maintain defenses. Survivors can be assigned to settlement duties, sent out in squads, or used to defend against attacks, while the player may join those battles directly.
What is Decision: Red Daze?
Decision: Red Daze is an isometric action RPG that combines survival and tower defense mechanics.
The Dust Bowl has been overtaken by the Red Daze, a phenomenon that turns survivors into mutated creatures. Explore abandoned farmsteads, factories, and military installations containing monsters, loot, and foundations for settlements. Upgrade and specialize survivors, form squads, and send them on exploration and scouting missions. At settlements, assign survivors to produce food, resources, or goods, and build and upgrade defenses. During attacks, task soldiers with protecting settlements or join the battle directly. Scouting can reveal monster movements, while finding and eliminating leaders can stop attacks. The wider objective is to search for a cure for the disease.
