Our take on Firebird
The clearest bounce point is the truck-management loop: players who would rather follow the story without tracking fuel, vehicle condition, and money may lose momentum once those resources become part of each leg of the trip.
What is Firebird?
Firebird is a short narrative road trip set in a world inspired by Slavic folklore.
Travel across the northern steppes in a truck, choosing routes and responding to risky obstacles along the way. The journey’s story changes with decisions. Track fuel, truck condition, and money, and collect resources at locations on the map as you travel. Characters appear during the trip, alongside landscapes rendered in hand-drawn art. The central task is to reach the destination while managing the truck and supplies in a hostile land. The story draws on Slavic legendary figures and is presented as an adventure resembling a traditional tale.
