Our take on The Van Game
The road-trip framing and park count receive the strongest emphasis, but the actual structure also centers on supplies, crew morale, illnesses, van upkeep, and seven mini-games. The journey is therefore as much a management sequence as a park-exploration trip.
What is The Van Game?
Travel across the USA in a pixel-art road-trip game inspired by Oregon Trail.
Visit 14 national parks, collect passport stamps, and encounter police, travelers, and other characters through choice-based events. Keep the journey going by managing money, food, gas, and other resources while maintaining the van and trying to keep the crew happy. The game includes seven mini-games, 12 illnesses that can affect the crew, and van upgrades and customization. Crew members may leave if their morale falls. The trip combines park exploration, resource management, event choices, health problems, and vehicle upkeep in a retro-styled adventure.
