Our take on Fate Tectonics
Players who prefer relaxed construction may bounce off the timed cycles, where a poor tile placement can anger the Fates and start a destructive chain reaction. The strategic pressure arrives before the world feels complete.
What is Fate Tectonics?
Fate Tectonics is a world-building puzzle game built around placing terrain tiles.
Each arrangement must satisfy a growing group of god-like Fates; poor choices can trigger destruction and chaos across the world. Players can unlock Fate powers as they build. Ragnarosa and Fortuna provide timed cycles of creation and destruction, while Serenity offers an untimed mode for expanding a world at an individual pace. The game includes pixel art, a symphonic soundtrack, progress records in the Book of Fate, and worlds that can be shared on Twitter. Accessibility settings include remappable controls, multiple input schemes, adjustable cursor and game speeds, larger fonts, colour-blindness support, separate audio controls, hints, tile auto-rotation, and multiple save states.
