Play it if you…

- Players looking for a focused game with few ships or limited equipment choices
Our take on Fairspace
The open-ended structure trades a tightly directed experience for freedom to choose between exploration, trade, combat, mining, piracy, and bounty hunting. That breadth can make progression feel less focused than a game built around a single campaign path.
What is Fairspace?
Fairspace is an open-ended space game combining exploration, trading, combat, mining, and piracy in a persistent 3D universe.
Players can fly in any direction, visit planets, stations, suns, and nebulae, and use experience from combat, exploration, or mining to level up. Ships can be modified with equipment bought, traded, or looted, while multiple vessels can remain docked across the universe for travel between them. Jobs can build reputation with different races and factions, and a scripted adventure introduces the setting. The game includes hundreds of ships, varied loadouts, bounty hunting, and Twitch-based combat.
