What is Nova Wing?
Nova Wing is a scrolling space shooter for one or two players.
Players fly through levels, fighting alien groups, bosses, and other defenses. Defeated enemies provide energy that can be used to upgrade the ship, and multiple firing patterns are available. Controls can use twin-stick aiming or a single-stick setup for straight-ahead shooting; an auto-fire option is also included. Two players can play on one PC or over a local network. For same-PC play, at least one player needs a controller. The developer notes that LAN play requires a 100 Mbps connection for smooth performance, and both players need to use the same aspect ratio. The game also includes achievements and score comparisons with friends and other Steam players.
