Our take on Exo TD

The bounce point arrives when a wave breaks through the planetary shields: the planet and every defense are lost. Players who dislike restart pressure or escalating enemy abilities may hit that failure system quickly.

What is Exo TD?

Exo TD is a 3D space tower defense game focused on protecting a planet from invading forces.

Players spend resources to place turrets, shields, orbital defenses, drones, and other defenses while maintaining the planet’s shields. In standard mode, enemy fleets arrive in recurring waves, including flagship bosses. Each wave introduces increasingly difficult AI ships with different tactics, strategies, and combat abilities. Destroyed ships can provide scrap resources used to upgrade turrets into newer models. If an invasion force breaks through the planetary shields, the planet and its defenses are lost.

How Exo TD plays

01Three-Dimensional Defense
The battlefield places planetary defenses and attacking ships in a fully 3D space setting.
02Multiple Defense Systems
Resources can be allocated to turrets, shields, orbital defenses, drones, and other defensive structures.
03Wave-Based Invasions
Standard mode sends invasion forces in recurring waves that include increasingly difficult ships and flagship bosses.
04Scrap-Funded Upgrades
Destroyed ships may provide scrap resources for upgrading turrets to newer defensive models.
05Reactive Enemy Abilities
Later invasion waves introduce ships with changing tactics, strategies, and combat abilities.

Exo TD compared to similar games

Creeper World 4 combines 3D terrain, economic-base construction, energy, mined wares, and forces against a fluid enemy, while Exo TD centers on planetary defenses, turret upgrades, shields, and recurring invading ships.
