Our take on DOTFI
Instead of leaving combat to stationed defenses, DOTFI puts the player inside a vehicle on the battlefield. Its tower defense structure combines turret placement and maze building with direct first- or third-person shooting, vehicle abilities, and attacks arriving from any direction.
What is DOTFI?
DOTFI combines tower defense with first- and third-person control.
Players operate a vehicle while defending an island whose ancient temples generate a protective energy barrier. Enemy troops enter through portals and target the temples, so defenses must be prepared before each invasion. The game includes seven turret types, vehicle-mounted turrets, drones for resource gathering, and seven vehicle abilities. Turrets and player stats can be upgraded, while defeated enemies provide essence for experience. Seven enemy categories include swarm, ranged, armored, air, destructive, and titan units. Single-player checkpoints save every 10 rounds. The open world allows turret placement and maze construction, with increasingly difficult rounds and dynamic weather.
