Our take on Express No. 6
The bounce point arrives when the timer starts pressing decisions: players who want to inspect every detail without urgency may find the train’s countdown restrictive. Those sensitive to sudden sounds, flashing lights, or stressful situations may hit a separate wall during the horror sequences.
What is Express No. 6?
In this brief first-person horror game, Maxim awakens aboard a train shortly before New Year, surrounded by tea, decorative lights, and a radio broadcast.
After a disturbing incident, he finds himself on his own. He must reach the locomotive’s controls and bring the train to a halt before the countdown ends. A camera reveals the contents of presents discovered during the trip. Each run varies through randomized findings and incidents, and the final personal present changes according to the completed playthrough. A session takes about 40–60 minutes and features abrupt noises, flashing imagery, and tense situations.
