What is Dead Man's Fault?
This short first-person psychological horror game follows a rescue effort in Deep Den Cave.
Players descend into a dark underground environment to investigate what happened to the last explorer who entered it. Progress involves moving through narrow passages, lowering down ropes, throwing flares, and crawling through the cave. Suspenseful incidents and frightening events appear during the descent. Four possibly available analog-horror tapes can be found, while a disturbing mystery provides the investigation's central thread. The game is built around a roughly 30-minute journey through a handcrafted cave, with the risk of becoming lost forming part of the experience.
