Our take on Lonely Christmas
The defining structure is its shift from daytime Christmas preparation to nighttime home defense, placing an isolated child and an approaching robber in the same forest house setting.
What is Lonely Christmas?
This first-person horror walking simulator follows Kevin, an 8-year-old boy left alone at home during Christmas.
During the day, the game presents a festive setting: a house surrounded by an old forest, with household tasks to complete before the holiday. At night, the mood changes when Kevin hears on the radio that a dangerous robber has escaped from custody and may be nearby. The player must keep the intruder outside, contact the police, and wait for Kevin’s parents to return. The experience is structured around the contrast between daytime Christmas activities and nighttime isolation, with the house serving as the central setting.
