Our take on Vision Runner
The bounce point arrives for players expecting multiplayer: the current loop centers on building or selecting maps and racing against the clock, while multiplayer remains a planned feature. Those seeking varied modes or a story framework may also find the present scope narrow.
What is Vision Runner?
Vision Runner is a first-person parkour game built around creating, sharing, and playing maps.
Its in-game editor uses a grid for placing blocks and objects on floors or other blocks. Completed parkours can be uploaded to the game's servers, where other players can access them through Parkour Central, the map browser. Players can run maps made by the developers or the community in races against the clock. Current movement options include climbing, sliding, wall running, and jumping over obstacles. The game is in development with Unreal Engine 4 and includes basic editor and sharing features in Early Access. Multiplayer, additional game modes, more editor content, extra tricks, weather, locations, characters, and a story creator are listed as planned features.
