Our take on Enemy Inside
Rather than centering the usual RPG loop on party members, dialogue, or character equipment, the game places a warship at the center of progression. Resources directly connect mission actions, defensive construction, ship upgrades, and tactical experimentation.
What is Enemy Inside?
Enemy Inside is an action roguelite resource-management game set on Earth after climatic disaster.
Unknown machines attack an enclave of survivors, leaving the player to control a warship and defend against them. Missions provide resources for improving the ship, constructing defenses, and converting existing machines into weapons. Battlefield decisions include drawing enemy forces into position, coordinating with allies, and combining abilities in different ways. The ship has multiple skills and abilities, while mission completion, resource collection, and enemy victories support customization and upgrades. Encounters can end in defeat, after which new tactics and improved abilities provide another attempt. Some character portraits and the game logo were made using artificial intelligence.
