Our take on Abalon: Roguelike Tactics CCG
The arena itself affects combat: units can use battlefield objects and terrain, including turning a tree behind enemy lines into an ally.
What is Abalon: Roguelike Tactics CCG?
Abalon combines roguelike quests, card strategy, and turn-based tactical combat in a tabletop-inspired world.
Explore 5 worlds in real time, meeting characters, finding cards, and encountering events that use a D20 roll. In combat, unit positioning and the arena environment shape encounters: units can use objects, hazards, and terrain to affect the fight. Each summoner is linked to two classes, with different abilities and playstyles. A deck is capped at 20 cards, and cards collected during quests can also be used to build a constructed deck for PvE Battle mode, where a summoner fights alongside two allied units. The game includes 20 summoners, more than 50 characters who can join an adventure, and over 400 collectible cards.
