StrategyIs EMERGENCY 4 Deluxe worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Simulation fans who want to direct emergency services across varied incidents
- Strategy players who enjoy managing several specialist teams at once
- Small groups seeking cooperative emergency-response missions for 2 to 4 players
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a relaxed pace may bounce off the real-time pressure of issuing orders as incidents unfold
- Those wanting a narrow, single-scenario experience may find the 20-mission campaign and multiple modes too broad
- Players looking for turn-based strategy may not fit the real-time command structure
Our take on EMERGENCY 4 Deluxe
The bounce point arrives when several emergencies demand orders at once. Players can direct up to 45 units and vehicles across changing incidents, so the experience may lose those who prefer a slower interface or a single clearly bounded task at a time.
What is EMERGENCY 4 Deluxe?
Take the role of an incident commander directing firefighters, police, medical personnel and specialist teams.
Dispatch units to traffic accidents, fires, crimes and natural disasters, then manage their orders as situations develop. The campaign contains 20 large missions set in a living city, with additional overseas scenarios across several regions. Free play presents changing demands, while endless and challenge modes offer further scenarios. The game includes 45 units and vehicles, including emergency doctors and salvage helicopters. Multiplayer supports cooperation between 2 and 4 players. This re-release also adds English versions of previously untranslated bonus missions and Deluxe content that had previously been available only in Spanish and German.
