Our take on EMERGENCY 3
Rather than focusing on combat or empire building, this strategy simulation puts emergency coordination at the center. Its scenarios ask for simultaneous control of rescue, police, and specialist units, while the scenario editor and town-wide Endless mode replace a single fixed campaign structure.
What is EMERGENCY 3?
EMERGENCY 3 combines simulation and real-time strategy around emergency response.
Players direct fire and rescue services, police, and specialist personnel across 20 missions involving accidents, natural disasters, terror incidents, and other crises. The game includes more than 35 emergency units, with resources such as helicopters and heavy salvage trucks. A campaign provides structured scenarios, while Endless mode places responsibility for an entire town. The game also includes a scenario editor for creating missions. Full 3D graphics support rotating and zooming views, with day-night changes, weather, special effects, and physics for events such as falling debris and collapsing buildings. This re-release originally launched in 2005 and is available on Steam.
