Our take on EMERGENCY 20
The anniversary framing emphasizes the 10 revisited missions, but the package also contains three campaigns from EMERGENCY 5, 2016, and 2017. The older campaigns and included multiplayer and freeplay maps make this more of a collection of several entries than a standalone set of anniversary missions.
What is EMERGENCY 20?
EMERGENCY 20 combines three campaigns from EMERGENCY 5, EMERGENCY 2016, and EMERGENCY 2017 with 10 reworked classic missions.
In real time, players assign fire, medical, police, and technical units to incidents such as street races, fires, and a nuclear emergency, deciding which tasks to handle first while working with limited resources. The package also includes freeplay and multiplayer maps. Three difficulty settings adjust the challenge. The edition includes videos about the original missions, with commentary from series creator Ralph Stock and community member Godra. A Mac version includes campaign, freeplay, and multiplayer modes; it does not support mods.
