Our take on Emergency 2014
The store presentation stresses the complete-series package and additional hours, but the clearly specified new campaign content consists of four meteorite missions. The remaining scope comes from earlier entries, sandbox maps, and unpredictable events rather than a wholly new campaign.
What is Emergency 2014?
Emergency 2014 is a real-time simulation in which players direct paramedics, firefighters, police, and disaster-relief teams during crises in major European locations.
Missions involve containing fires, locating buried victims, protecting civilians, and preserving city landmarks. Sandbox maps allow players to choose their own response strategy while managing unfolding events. The package includes content from Emergency 2013 and Emergency 2012 DELUXE, along with new units such as fire helicopters and a horse-drawn pumper. Four additional single-player missions focus on meteorite disasters, including scenarios set in Pisa and an 1890 historical setting. The game includes more than 20 missions, sandbox maps, unpredictable events, and new video sequences.
