DREAMIO is a branching adventure game in which generative AI creates the story and visuals in response to player decisions.
Players can type replies, speak through a microphone, or select suggested options while interacting with a narrator from a second-person viewpoint. The game includes generated illustrations, speech narration, and access to more than 150 language models, plus various image models. Players can adjust narrator rules, choose starting prompts or make their own, and save different story branches. Optional systems track details such as location, time, and inventory, while a vector database can provide long-term memory. Steam Workshop supports sharing and downloading prompts. The Steam version does not generate sexual content.
