Our take on HyperLeague Heroes
Players seeking constant manual control may bounce off when the idle system takes over exploration and combat. Those wanting a defined endpoint may hit another wall in the endless dungeon structure, especially when every 100 floors introduces a boss intended to end an unprepared run.
What is HyperLeague Heroes?
Assemble a party from more than 30 playable characters, including enemies that can be recruited, and send them into endless dungeons.
Warriors level up, gain new equipment, and can be fused into hybrids with distinct statistics and abilities. Players may issue commands directly or let the team explore and fight independently in idle mode. Runs include randomized events such as treasure rooms and hidden boss encounters, while a powerful boss appears every 100 floors. Gear receives generated statistics and perks based on progress through a run. Online challenges place squads on leaderboards. Steam Workshop supports skins for created heroes or villains. An internet connection is required for some startup features and continuously for cloud saves, leaderboards, achievements, and Steam Workshop.
