Our take on Hero's Warband
The automated battle structure gives up direct control during encounters. Tactical decisions center on recruitment, upgrades, equipment, spells, and composition before or between fights rather than on manually directing each attack.
What is Hero's Warband?
Hero's Warband is a 2D survival autobattler set in Astoria.
Recruit heroes with different classes and skills, then arrange the warband around class combinations. Battles run automatically as the group faces successive enemy waves, bosses, and enemy heroes with distinct abilities. Heroes can be upgraded from Novice to Divine ranks, equipped with items, and taught spells. More than 100 items span progression tiers and can come from defeated monsters or the shop. Roguelite systems increase the commander's bonus stats, while hero combinations can be changed or bought for future runs. The game focuses on composing and developing a warband while observing its fights.
