- Players looking for a story-led adventure rather than combat and weapon experimentation
- Players who do not want to manage weapons, abilities, inventory items, and optional map content
Our take on Devilated
Rather than separating shooter combat from RPG progression, Devilated combines rapid gunplay with inventories, abilities, enemy consumption, and New Game+. Its most unusual combat convention is turning defeated foes into both cover and a health resource.
What is Devilated?
Devilated combines old-school shooting with action-RPG systems in a labyrinth filled with hostile monsters.
Combat includes firearms, blades, rocket launchers, dual-wielding, dashing, gliding, sword abilities, and time-slowing. Enemies can be used as shields and consumed to restore health, while a combo meter tracks attacks. The game contains 30 levels, 30 bosses, more than 100 weapons and abilities, checkpoints, secret discoveries, and a rotatable RPG inventory. New Game+ increases enemy numbers and adds the Slaughter rank. Players can adjust camera tilt and field of view, create maps, and exchange Unity imports through Steam Workshop. The campaign is listed at 20 to 40 hours or more, with a metal soundtrack.
