Our take on Dementium II HD
The game departs from a combat-first horror structure by giving weapons an exploration role as well as a fighting function. Its progression also combines fractured memories, puzzles, and action instead of presenting the story separately from the encounters.
What is Dementium II HD?
Dementium II HD is a horror game about William Redmoor’s attempt to escape Bright Dawn Treatment Center while reconstructing his story.
The gameplay combines action, narrative, and puzzles. Encounters feature distinctive enemies that require different approaches, whether defeating them or surviving their attacks. Weapons serve two purposes: fighting enemies and opening routes into new areas. The story moves through visions of doctors, patients, experiments, and tortured memories, with a dark doctor observing Redmoor. Ghostly creatures also appear in Pelf Village. This edition retains the handheld game’s core gameplay while revising its visuals, lighting, and controls. It includes Steam achievements, cloud saves, and controller support.
