Our take on BTD:BTD
The bounce point arrives when realistic combat consequences replace casual pacing. Players expecting simple controls to lead to forgiving encounters may struggle once bullet behavior, hit locations, armor, stealth, and enemy awareness begin determining each fight.
What is BTD:BTD?
BTD:BTD is a single-player tactical shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world.
It combines third-person and first-person perspectives with over 20 short episodes that can be selected independently. Battles include large confrontations involving enemies and allies, as well as stealth encounters focused on surprising opponents. A skirmish mode randomly generates situations for repeated play. Combat models bullet travel through factors such as air resistance and gravity, while impacts can involve penetration or ricochet.
Damage varies by hit location, armor, impact depth, and other conditions. Enemies use autonomous AI based on information they have seen or heard within a recognition range comparable to the player's. The game includes over 26 equipment types and simple controls, but attacks can cause severe consequences, including death. After dying, the player can immediately try again.
