Our take on Stary
The defining structure is a compressed lifetime experienced through the protagonist’s damaged memories, with rare saving adding a persistent risk to exploration.
What is Stary?
Stary follows a traveler who wakes in a hospital after a serious operation and begins a journey through the protagonist’s memories.
The route includes an abandoned prison, sections of a hospital, a forest, a castle, a dungeon, and concealed underground facilities. Exploration involves navigating hazards and chasms, finding notes and scrolls, and entering ordinary and hidden rooms. The character’s identity and destination are revealed at the end of the journey. Saving occurs only occasionally, and damaged memory fragments can leave the character stuck within those memories. As the traveler moves through these locations, turns may lead to discoveries or unpleasant surprises.
