What is Cycled?
Cycled is an interdimensional roguelike set after a cataclysm has broken the barriers between parallel worlds.
Players control two heroes whose abilities, upgrades, and playstyles can be combined while exploring procedurally generated dungeons. Every 10 seconds, a reality wave changes the heroes, enemies, and interactive surroundings. Runs involve adapting to these shifts, studying enemy behavior, responding to traps and hazards, and defeating paired bosses. Parallel worlds introduce different environments and enemy behaviors, while randomized rewards, traits, skills, and team-based leveling create varied character combinations. The two heroes begin as strangers and develop complementary abilities as they progress through each dungeon.
