RPGIs Multicellular worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy building organisms from interchangeable biological parts
- Survival-game fans who want hunger and environmental hazards alongside creature combat
- Groups seeking multiplayer matches with cooperative and competitive pressure
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a low-pressure experience may bounce off the survival loop, where hunger, darkness, creatures, and the environment can all kill the organism.
- Players seeking a large campaign or extensive map variety may hit the current seven-map structure quickly.
- Players looking for a conventional human-scale adventure may not fit the organism-building premise and its four game modes.
Our take on Multicellular
The bounce point arrives when organism construction meets constant survival pressure: hunger, darkness, hostile creatures, and environmental threats all remain active dangers. Players who prefer experimenting without repeated lethal consequences may leave before the cell-building system has room to develop.
What is Multicellular?
Build an organism from more than 100 cell types divided into five categories, shaping it for traits such as armour, speed, poison, or camouflage.
Survival involves managing hunger while facing other organisms, environmental dangers, and darkness. The game includes four modes: Evolution, Genetic Superiority, King of the Puddle, and Football. Each mode supports single-player and multiplayer play, including cooperative sessions and competition against other players. Seven maps are available, with each map assigned to a particular mode. Progress and survival depend on adapting the organism's available strengths to the dangers of the game world.
