Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly authored story may find the recurring horde battles and loot cycle too system-focused
- Players who dislike permanent character loss may hit a wall in Adventure mode when mercenaries die
- Players wanting a short, fixed campaign may find the recruitment, training, crafting, and base-management systems too involved
Our take on Mercenaries of the Kingdom: First Blood
The bounce point arrives in Adventure mode when permanent deaths combine with extraction: losing mercenaries during a run can erase part of the party, while returning with loot requires calling a portal. Players who prefer low-risk progression may stop there.
What is Mercenaries of the Kingdom: First Blood?
This party-based rogue-lite RPG takes place in the fantasy world of Earthial.
Players recruit mercenaries, feed, train, and equip them, then arrange formations for battle. Quick Battle provides a shorter mode with one match type and excludes the strongest weapons. Adventure sends the party through recurring enemy hordes, with multiple mission types, base management, item crafting, permanent deaths, and an extraction system requiring a portal to bring people and loot home. The game includes six races, 12 schools of magical knowledge, more than 140 enemy types, 210+ weapons, 650+ armor components, magic items, and four mount types. Mercenary designs can combine roles such as armored infantry, wizards, horse archers, musketeers, and ninjas.
