Our take on Adore
The store presentation foregrounds creature combinations and a broad set of supporting systems, but gives less immediate emphasis to the repeated preparation involved in expeditions: training, positioning, recalling creatures, managing equipment, and cooking all sit alongside combat.
What is Adore?
Adore is an action RPG about capturing creatures and assembling a team for expeditions through Gaterdrik.
Each creature has distinct abilities, traits, and a special move that becomes available when its energy is full. Team synergies can add abilities or alter how creatures function, while positioning, summoning, recalling, and timing special moves shape encounters. Runes and artifacts can be equipped and upgraded to complement the team. Expeditions provide ingredients for cooking dishes used during the journey, and statues of Draknar grant creatures individual traits. The story follows Lukha, an apprentice tasked with reviving Draknar, the dead god of creatures, while investigating the curse affecting Gaterdrik and the conspiracy behind Draknar’s death.

Adore compared to similar games
Adore centers on collecting creatures, building a team around synergies, and managing summons, equipment, traits, and cooking during expeditions. Ghost of a Tale is also an action RPG, but its description focuses on a mouse protagonist, stealth, disguises, conversations, and exploration in a medieval animal world rather than creature-team management.
