Our take on Cubikolor
Rather than relying on a fixed sequence of static puzzles, Cubikolor makes color alignment, movement limits, traps, and time manipulation part of each level’s structure. Its Hardkore mode also turns medal and time chasing into a central challenge.
What is Cubikolor?
Cubikolor is a 3D puzzle game in which players roll a Kube across platforms, matching the colors on its sides with the platform to open each level’s locks.
Levels include traps, movement limits, and time limits, while actions such as rolling, climbing, descending, and rewinding time provide ways to test different routes. Special Kubes add effects, including booby traps and multiple colors. The game offers Classik and Hardkore modes, changing backdrops, level objectives, medals, score challenges, and progressive music. Its campaign is presented as a confrontation with the System, an entity that places obstacles throughout the environments.
How Cubikolor plays
- 01Color Matching
- The Kube must align its side colors with the colors of each platform to progress.
- 02Time Rewind
- Rewinding lets players revisit earlier actions while working through a level.
- 03Special Kubes
- Distinct cube types include trapped and multicolored variants with different effects.
- 04Two Game Modes
- Classik and Hardkore modes provide separate ways to approach the levels.
- 05Medal Challenges
- The game includes 450 medals tied to objectives, scores, and times.
