Our take on Creature Hunt
The bounce point comes during preparation and surveillance: players must choose equipment at home, place cameras, read their movement alerts, and distinguish the player from wild animals. Anyone expecting immediate creature encounters may lose interest before the tracking loop develops.
What is Creature Hunt?
Creature Hunt combines survival horror with hunting simulation.
The player controls the sister of a tourist killed in the woods of North Carolina and searches for the unidentified beast responsible. Before leaving home, the player selects equipment such as weapons, ammunition, medicines, and video cameras. A car can also be used during the search, while home remains a place to return when fear sets in. Picked-up items appear in an inventory. Installed cameras show their positions on the map and a computer screen, with motion sensors that react to the player and wild animals. Interaction uses the E key; the Tab key opens the inventory, while G controls the car engine and L controls its headlights.
