Our take on Rake
The defining structure is its day-night investigation cycle: equipment is installed in daylight, then camera feeds are monitored after dark.
What is Rake?
Play as Gordon Davis, a scientist and explorer investigating unusual creatures and events.
In a forest where the Rake has been seen, install cameras and motion sensors during the day. Cameras can also be mounted on animals lured into traps. At night, watch the monitors and switch between camera feeds to look for unusual activity. When a camera detects something, travel to that location and hunt the creature with a rifle.
The objective is to kill or trap it, while avoiding its attacks. The game ends when the creature kills Gordon or the player ends the game. The vendor says multiplayer is in testing and will be added for free after an update. Mac OS and Linux versions are also in testing.
