Our take on Deep Blue Sushi
The restaurant-growth premise sits alongside substantial underwater work: seafood must be gathered through exploration and fights with sea creatures before it reaches the kitchen. That makes the game a hybrid of co-op cooking, light combat, and ocean adventure rather than a restaurant-only simulation.
What is Deep Blue Sushi?
Deep Blue Sushi is a cooperative adventure for 1–5 players.
Players alternate between ocean exploration and restaurant work: diving for seafood, tracking and fighting dangerous creatures, preparing sushi, and serving customers during busy shifts. Sushi is assembled through ingredient preparation and recipe steps, while specialized equipment supports activities above and below the water. The restaurant begins with a small setup and can grow through additional tables, upgraded stations, a larger menu, and increased customer capacity. Character customization includes clothing, colors, hairstyles, and accessories. Ocean exploration introduces deeper areas, varied sea life, rare animals, and hazards including sharks, piranhas, squid, electric fish, and octopuses.
