A friendship ritual sends Ayumi Shinozaki and her classmates to an alternate version of Heavenly Host Elementary, a school built over a site marked by past murders.
Players explore its halls, investigate what happened to earlier victims, and make choices that alter the story and characters’ fates. The game combines point-and-click adventure exploration with a battleless RPG structure. Its presentation uses 16-bit-style graphics, gruesome descriptions, Japanese voice acting, and binaural 3D sound effects. The narrative includes five main chapters, fourteen Extra Chapters, and two additional Extra Chapters focused on Ayumi, Yoshiki, Miku Shirayume, and Ryoka Iwami.
