Our take on Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient
The bounce point arrives when survival requires more than walking through the hospital: pursuers must be distracted or avoided, cabinets used for hiding, and items applied to the environment. Players expecting conventional RPG combat may also find the limited boss-focused structure restrictive.
What is Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient?
Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient follows Ayame Itou, a high-school student who wakes from a coma strapped to an operating table in an abandoned, quarantined hospital.
With her memories missing and exits sealed, she investigates what happened while encountering friends, hostile captors, zombies, supernatural creatures, and spirits. Chapter 1 begins a standalone storyline set five years after Corpse Party: Blood Drive, while Extra Chapter 1 retells part of the story from another character’s perspective. Exploration uses top-down 3D environments with dynamic lighting and 360° movement. Players equip items for environmental puzzles, run from pursuers, throw objects as distractions, hide in cabinets, and face boss battles.
