Coffee Crisis is a brawler about baristas defending Earth from aliens and brainwashed humans seeking heavy metal, free Wi-Fi, and coffee.
It supports solo play and local co-op for two players across eight locations, from a coffee house headquarters to outer space. Combat includes weapons, special moves, suplexes, and coffee. Random modifiers alter enemies and gameplay on each playthrough, with more than 50 screen effects, power-ups, and enemy changes. Twitch integration lets an audience influence events during a run. The game includes a heavy metal soundtrack and music from Pyschostick, Lords of the Trident, Nile, and Terrorizer. Death Metal Mode increases the difficulty for repeat play.
