Our take on Krimson
The bounce point comes when the environment begins changing with the soundtrack and one wrong move causes death. Players who struggle with demanding timing or dislike repeating attempts after mistakes may stop at that system, despite frequent checkpoints.
What is Krimson?
Krimson is a challenging rhythm platformer set in a hellish world that changes in time with heavy electronic metal music.
Platforms, obstacles, hazards, objects, and rules shift with the soundtrack. The player controls an unknown spawn through four settings: a blood-soaked demonic realm, a harsh industrial environment, a psychedelic landscape, and a molten fire-and-lava setting. One wrong move causes death, while frequent checkpoints and very short death sequences return the game to play quickly. The game presents an interactive album combining industrial electronic, techno, dubstep, and metal sounds. Its structure calls for attention, skill, mental focus, and patience across its changing environments and music-synchronized hazards.
