Our take on Exophobia
Weapon abilities serve two roles: they change how combat works and open previously inaccessible areas aboard the crashed spaceship.
What is Exophobia?
Exophobia is a retro-style first-person shooter set inside a human vessel occupied by aggressive extraterrestrial troops.
The player moves across several decks, battles hostile forces, and looks for surviving crew members while piecing together the ship’s history. Fights combine gunfire with sliding, enemy stunning, tactical positioning, movement techniques, and environmental use. Visiting specialized weapon labs provides abilities that change combat and grant entry to areas that could not previously be reached. The vessel contains contrasting locations, from laboratories overrun by worms to the machinery surrounding its engines, with hidden discoveries throughout. Foes follow different offensive routines, while encounters with bosses require tailored tactics. Checkpoints allow progress to be saved during the campaign.
