Our take on Stop Dead
Instead of treating movement as simple traversal, the game makes continued motion a survival rule: stopping means death. It also replaces a conventional weapon focus with telekinetic use of objects scattered throughout its city environments.
What is Stop Dead?
Stop Dead is a first-person action game centered on constant movement and speed-based missions.
Players run, jump, and slide through handcrafted city environments while using telekinetic powers to pull objects and launch them at enemies. More than 100 throwable objects can become weapons alongside guns. Rooftops and tunnels contain alternate routes, challenges, and hidden secrets. Enemies and challenges become increasingly difficult as players pursue faster completion times. The game includes online leaderboards, Twitch integration, stream interactions that can add items or enemies, ghost racing, customizable interface placement, and an accessibility mode. Its comic-book-inspired presentation follows a rogue AI and a destructive super-powered operative.
