Our take on Claybook
Its focus on deformable clay and player-made chapters trades conventional level design for experimentation. That gives the game a flexible creative structure, but players looking for a tightly directed sequence of challenges may find the format less consistent.
What is Claybook?
Claybook takes place in a world made from deformable clay that can be shaped, molded, liquefied, solidified, and destroyed.
Players control clay blobs, changing their forms to solve obstacles and puzzles across chapters featuring different challenges. Each form has distinct strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. The game includes multiple books and chapters, split-screen play for up to four participants, leaderboards, achievements, and a sandbox for experimenting with clay blobs. An in-game editor allows players to create books and chapters without technical skills and share them with the Claybook community. Community-made creations from PC, Xbox One, and PS4 can also be discovered and played inside the game.
